This year 2008 I will have been training for 24 years in the Bujinkan system of Ninjutsu, under Dr Masaaki Hatsumi. I first saw Soke in 1988 in Dublin when he did a Taikai there. At that time I was training with Brian McCarthy. as he was the senior grade looking after the Liverpool area at the time. When Brian McCarthy split with Soke I stayed under Dr Masaaki Hatsumi and trained in Liverpool and various locations around the UK. And  with various other instructors. In my 22 years of training I’ve seen Soke 12 times in many places around the world including 4 times in Japan at the Hombu Dojo. were in 2002 I passed my Godan test with him.
