Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu actually began life in Liverpool about 22 years ago. It was thought at the time to be a money spinner because of the Ninja and Kung Fu movies at the time. This was not the case, and the Bujinkan has grown over the years, and has a following of over 50,000 members in every country in the world.

When this art first arrived on the shores of Great Britain, it was known as Togakure ryu Ninpo Taijutsu, or the art of the Ninja. Over the years it has had a couple of name changes, Ninpo Taijutsu, Ninpo, but more commonly known as Ninjutsu.

A couple of years ago Dr Maasaki Hatsumi, 34th Soke (grandmaster), decided that the art should now be known as Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, and this art is going from strength to strength.

So as you can see this is not a flash in the pan art out to rip off, it is a genuine art loved by all that take part, many other martial artists world wide have settled with this art, after finding the art they were doing had nothing left to offer.

This is a living art, it adapts with life changes and circumstances, it can be used in daily life and not just in a self defense attitude. Please read on and enjoy the links if this convinces you to play as we call it, don't hesitate to contact me
